Rather than going with a corn maze, we decided a wood maze would be better. You can come out and enjoy our maze seven months out of the year. You know that feeling, cabin fever, when you're just itching to get out and do something, well our maze opens the 1st week of April, so get rid of those cabin blues and come challenge your family and friends to some fun.
The Ground of the maze consists of pea gravel so you never have to worry about messy muddy shoes, unlike a corn maze. When you think that the rain will dampen your fun, it won't, the maze is actually quite doable, because the pea gravel is a great base that allows drainage. And remember, no muddy shoes. And there's those days you think it's too hot, well we've got you covered. Actually we have a new mister system that will be installed in 2004, it will spray a fine mist over the maze to keep you cooled, but not soak you. Don't let weather be your deciding factor if you come out to the maze!
We also knew that Marion had a great location with excellent proximity to some of Wisconsin's main highways (9 miles south of Hwy. 29, 40 miles west of Hwy. 41, 34 miles north of Hwy. 10, and 35 miles east of Hwy. 51). Combine that with the natural beauty of the area and we knew there was opportunity.
